SISTER PHYLLIS BERNARDO'S 50TH JUBILEE!!!

Sister Phyllis Bernardo celebrated her 50th Jubilee of service to our Lord on September 20th, 2001 in Rochester, New York! Many friends and family members were there to join her in this wonderful celebration. A Jubilee Mass was celebrated by Father Jerome, a long time friend who also celebrated Sister Phyll's 25 jubilee. Sister Concepta, a very dear friend and colleague, was present at the celebration also. Sister Phyll and Sister Concepta, both Sisters of Mercy, had worked together in Mississippi for many years minstering to the people of the area. After the Mass, a wonderful dinner was served! The dinner was arranged by Louise Bernardo Morasse and Al Bernardo, Sister Phyll's brother and sister. All of the guests were honored to be able to share in this special celebration and had a wonderful time (and great food!) at the dinner afterwords!

GARRETT'S 2ND BIRTHDAY!!!

Garrett celebrated his 2nd birthday on March 19, 2000 at his home in Ft. Myers, Florida. Mom, Dad, and Mom's family were there to help him celebrate the festivities. A great time was had by all! Dad had the following words in honor of his son's birthday:

"2 years ago tonight...I was tending bar in Lansing when I got the call, at just about this hour 11:00pm. Garrett was born the next afternoon at 5:05. I got to sleep around 10:30 that night. I had been awake for over 30 hours...and I had the easy job!"
